Dan Simplicio worked at CG Wallace’s trading post using branch coral in its natural form, which was not common during the 1930s. He was an inlay master like this sterling silver bolo tie featuring an eagle. The eagle is inlaid with mother of pearl, turquoise, and jet. He added a two-dimensional snake and leaf design.
